About Tastes of Holland

TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR.
ONLINE TICKET SALES CLOSE AT NOON ON NOVEMBER 13, 2019.

An evening of Food, Wine and Craft Beer in Downtown Holland. There will be local vineyards, breweries, and restaurants from all across West Michigan featured at this event for your tasting pleasure. Tastes of Holland will highlight our region's culinary talent, top local brews & wines.

Check out the Kids Activity Area, sponsored by Back to Health Chiropractic, too! This event is also sponsored in part by Gordon Food Service, brought to you by the Holland Sentinel and the Holland Civic Center.

10% of ticket sales will be donated to Community Action House and Harvest Stand Ministries.

Community Action House: Our community's biggest asset is our people - and our neighbors and community members won't achieve their full potential when they don't have access to healthy food, needed resources and important connections.
1. Food. We aspire to serve more of our region's food insecure families (towards 1,200+ each month), offering healthy food, conveniently, in a way that reduces barriers to consuming nutritious meals at home. Leveraging best practices, we're planning to do this in a way that decreases our cost per household served while building autonomy and offering more choice to our guests.
2. Connection. We will more deeply integrate our food, resource navigation, and financial wellness services so that people who visit us in need of food meet easy-to-access programs designed around their needs and schedules. Over time, we'll work to consolidate our core programmatic offerings on one site to improve this integration.
3. Financial Mobility. Building on our current financial wellness and homeownership efforts, we'll rely on research-backed approaches that nudge, incentivize, and support the ability of our guests to build stronger credit, stockpile a liquid financial reserve of a few hundred dollars to help weather small setbacks, invest in their families' education and future income, and build their long-run financial health.
We cannot achieve what we do today or what we aspire to in the future without the support of our incredible community!

Harvest Stand Ministries: HSM strives to provide crisis services and long term support that leads to self-sustaining life change. Those that interact with us experience grace, compassion, love and mercy as we walk alongside them, discipling them from experiencing crisis to contributing to our world in meaningful ways. We help create pathways and connections to resources via community partnerships. We help people navigate through rivers of systems and processes to find the best way forward.
