Special Guest

Greg Olsen

Carolina Panthers Tight End
Greg Olsen began his career in the National Football League in 2007 after being selected in the first round by the Chicago Bears as the 31st overall pick in the draft. In 2010, Olsen helped the Bears win their first 2011 playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks, catching three passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns.

In 2011, Olsen was traded to the Carolina Panthers and during his first season caught 45 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns. In the 2014 season, Pro Football Focus rated Olsen as the best tight end in pass block efficiency and receiving. He finished the regular season with a career-high 84 catches, 1,008 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Olsen finished that season third in the NFL for receptions by a tight end and second for both yards on the season and yards per game. He was voted to the 2015 Pro Bowl after his first 1,000 yard receiving season.

During the 2015 season, Olsen set Panthers records for career receiving yards and receptions for a tight end and at the conclusion of the season was selected for his second consecutive Pro Bowl. He was also selected to the AP All-Pro second team. That same year, the Panthers went to Super Bowl 50, where Olsen had four catches for 41 yards against the Denver Broncos.

Olsen was the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Finalist in 2015 and was the winner of the Ed Block Courage award given annually to a player voted by his teammates as a role model of inspiration, sportsmanship and courage, that same year.

In 2009, Olsen founded Receptions for Research: The Greg Olsen Foundation. They work to enhance the lives of those affected by various forms of cancer and congenital heart disease.
